Blog EntryMotif 14 - Ric Rac (Zig Zag) TechniqueNov 17, '06 12:00 AM
for everyone
This is another original design.  The technique used in this one is called Ric Rac or Zig Zag.  The chains have a number of alternated "normal" and "direct" (unflipped) stitches.  Creating a chain that is similar to a zig zag or ric rac form.  This is a technique that look sgreat when done in 2 colors.

This motif is part of a set I called the Peppermint Flakes.  The first time I made them I used red and white thread and they look like peppermint candies.  This one is the biggest of the 3.  The set will be part of another book.

I have been busy tatting in my new apartment.  Hubby has been a great help for me, helping organizing and cleaning everything.  Even cooking!  So what else do I do but to tat!  :-)  God bless him for been such a wonderful husband!  He even encourage me to keep tatting.  That keeps me busy and away from troubles.  LOL
