for everyone

Last week I received a PM asking information about Tatting:  where to buy materials and where to find classes.  I was looking for the message to read it again and reply and can't find it.  Sorry I couldn't reply at the moment I got it.    I receive messages asking about Tatting pretty often, so here I'll post some information.

Now a day you can find a lot of information about tatting online.  I think I have posted some videos on my site that shows how to make the knot.  Also there are online classes from beginner until advance.  The main classroom is by Georgia Seitz at http://www.georgiaseitz.com  The beginners are with Mimi Dillan at http://www.angelfire.com/planet/newtatters/  There is a session already going but they'll start another one as soon as the current one finish.

Also may be you can find a guild or group in your area, or at least another tatter.  Writting to Georgia could help.  Her e-mail is aktatter@aol.com.  Tell her that Wally sent you.

For materials I recommend online Handy Hands and Be-Stitched.  There are other sites, but these are the ones I have order from and their service is great and prices are reasonable.

You can find a list of web sites at the DMOZ.org directory.  It's not actualized but at least is a good place to start.

Fore Spanish information, that I know, I'm the only one giving classes online in Spanish.  The web site is Frivolite.org  There you can find instructions and classes in Spanish.

Para informacion en Español, hasta donde tengo entendido, soy la unica dando clases online en Español.  El web site es Frivolite.org.  Ahi puedes conseguir instrucciones y clases en Español.

If more information is needed, then let me know at my e-mail of needledreams at yahoo.com
