On March I participated of another exchange. This time the theme was door hangers. It's the 1st time I participate in a category like this. Usually for the exchanges are snowflakes, bookmarks, small doilies, etc. So it was difficult to come with a door hanger with tatting. First I was thinking in making it all tatted, but anyway I was going to need a hard base for the lace. So I ended choosing a pre-made wood hanger. I painted it a light yellow, almost cream...
The theme I made for my hanger was "Metamorphosis". I tried to make like a metamorphosis from Flowers into Butterflies. I think it worked pretty well. My friend already received it and she told me that it's hanging in her studio french door.
