Our Mother's Day was great and I hope yours was as good as ours.  Mom and I went to the Plaza of Carolina to take some photos and later went to Letty's home.  She cook a delicious lunch of "Carne Mechada" and rice with coconut.  Mom made strawberry jello with cream cheese and fruit salad for desert.  After that we went to Piñones to eat a late afternoon snack of Puerto Rican fritters.  Going home we were stuck in the famous "Piñones' Traffic Jam" and we decided to go back to Carolina and eat on an Italian restaurant.  I added a photo album with the ones I took.  Tomorrow I'll post some that Letty took with her camera and also the photos of mom's new babies.

It's 1:17 am and I'm so tire and full of delicious food that I think I'll hit the sack and fall asleep really fast!

Day out on Mother's Day around our town.

Well, after thinking all afternoon what to post I think this is the perfect one.

This is my youngest sister Naida.  This was on her 25th birthday.  She was opening her gifts when she came with a very special gift.  My other sister, Letty, got her the DVD of Annie.  What's so special about that movie?  Well, let me tell you a little story...

When we were small (or younger, 'cause I'm still small  ) one of my uncles gave Naida a video tape with several movies recorded and one of those movies was Annie.  EVERY single day Naida asked to see the video.  She was like 4-5 years old and she knew every song in the movie.  Gosh!  Was a torture!!!  One day Letty and me hide the movie and Naida cried so much and when mom asked what happened Naida told her that we hide the movie and to make the story short Letty and me got a scold from mom and we had to put the movie so Naida was happy.

So here is Naida happy again with her favorite movie!

The photos were taken by me using my Kodak C-310 on 2006.

Yesterday Toni and I were chatting and she was asking about how to put some pics together from her family.  The ones that she was asking for I couldn't make them because they were too small but I wanted to make something for her.  So here it is!  The big one can be seen and saved at the Scrapbook Album.

This is a tribute to my wonderful friend Toni and her lovely family and heritage.  Love ya!

This is a QP (Quick Page) made by Raspberry Designs.  I love Susan's kits.  SHe always use very pretty colors, not extremely bright.  This QP is part of a free kit called Vintage Peddler.  I don't have a lot of photos of my father but I found these 2 in a photo CD and thought this QP will be perfect for a couple of dad's photos.  He's my old man.    He turned 61 this year.

Hamada is the nickname of my nephew.  Yesterday I made this layout using a QP from LB Creations
I Was looking for baby boy kits but the ones I have are too infant-looking. But this one looks nice.  May be a little somber for a bubble of joy that my nephew is.

Have to look around on the kits I have for a more boyish kit.  I have over 300 of them and right now they're kinda in a mess on one of the hard drives of the 'puter.

Yay!  We're happy.  My hubby got a new job. He's going to be a Physical Ed teacher at a Language School here in 6th October.  My hubby has a bachelor degree in Philosophy and was a teacher before.  But for some reasons he had to stop working as a teacher and became to work in plaster decorations.  He's very good at it, but the work is extremely hard and he has to leave me alone for a long time because most of the work is done far from here.  The money, though, was a little better; over 1000 LE per month.

Now it's going to be only 500 LE per month but at least he'll be at home with me everyday.

Hmm...    That's good, right?  I mean, having a husband every day in the house...  I have been married several times and all of my husbands have never been in the house every day.  lol  I think I'm used to have part time husbands.  But anyway, I'm happy for my hubby.  He loves to teach!

Here is another cutie pie!  His name is Noe Elias and he born I think in August.  The lady on the photo with him is not the mother.  It's my sister Letty.  As I explained yesterday, mom and sister become "aunties" of every baby born within the family, friends, church and wrok circle.    He is so cute and love to laugh, that's what mom says.  The hair is always in an eternal punk!

His parents are students at the college where Letty is the Librarian and Professor, the Colegio Biblico Pentecostal de Puerto Rico. I made the layout yesterday, combining a couple of scrapbooking sets I have.
